Sleeping through in a rest stop is not as bad as it sounds. Donghae Rest Stop boasts its wonderful view of the ocean. After taking in the morning sights, I headed to a Daegeumgul, or Daegeum Cave, a famous sight in neighboring Samcheok. Let’s face it, not every day has a highlight. Day 11 was pretty much a transportation day, just lounging around until the ticket booth opened at 3pm and then just waiting some more until my ferry at 5:30. I guess the highlight would be getting sleepy and passing out in a rest stop. Maybe it was that wonderful toast I had for lunch. Like I said, not every day has a highlight.
