Relentlessly stealing our food at the top of the Avalanche Trail in Yellowstone.

Don’t let this cute face fool you, he is fearless. When my friends and I went to Yellowstone National Park, we climbed to the top of Avalanche Trail. There was this single squirrel (or chipmunk) who was not afraid of humans at all. He would come down and take our trail mix. At least I got this picture out of it.

Can anyone identify the species?

Episode #3 Update: The 5 pedal Chery Blossom is a hybrid known as Somei Yoshino, or Prunus x yedoensis

What a cutie, he would be a great inspiration for a disney movie 😉
Great photo, I often find when taking pictures of animals that they get so blurry because they never stop moving!

Oh trust me, for every good picture, there are 20 bad ones. Taking pictures of animals, and even plants is not for people without a lot of patience. A little wind, and forget about that cool flower picture.
